What it does

Writing about financial products is usually either too simple or assumes too much — little sits in between. StrikeAndYield therefore layers five levels: snapshot, beginner, intermediate, advanced, desk notes. You can stop at any of them and still have a whole answer. Eleven asset classes, from cash equities through rates and credit derivatives to digital assets; each has a deep-dive page with calculators whose inputs you can move yourself. Plus 13 guided routes through the atlas, 32 concepts and a glossary. The site is in English.

A look inside

What StrikeAndYield looks like from the inside

Screenshots from the running product, each with the address it shows. Anyone who checks will find the same there — a click on the image leads exactly there.

It fits you if

  • You want to understand an instrument rather than merely recognise it — each one appears at five depths, from the snapshot to the desk notes
  • You want to see the formula it is actually priced with, and move the inputs yourself
  • You are comfortable reading in English

It does not fit if

  • You are after recommendations or prices: this explains how an instrument works, not what to buy
  • You want German explanations — the site is in English

Both lists are here because a product that fits everyone was made for no one.

Common questions

What visitors want to know before the first click.

What does “five levels of depth” mean?

Every instrument appears five times: a snapshot in two sentences, a beginner's account in ordinary language, an intermediate one with the mechanics, an advanced one with the pricing, and finally desk notes from a trading desk's point of view. You can stop at any level.

What is there so far?

129 instruments across eleven asset classes, from cash equities through rates and credit derivatives to digital assets; plus 142 calculators, a glossary of 303 terms and 13 guided routes.

Is this investment advice?

No. The site explains instruments and how they are valued. It makes no recommendation and knows neither your situation nor your goals.
